View DetailsProject Foremen - Full Time - New Jersey

Under the direction of the Project Manager, you will travel to pre-scheduled appointments to install solar power equipment and supervise installers and electricians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all required duties as directed to install solar power equipment and products.
Install all energy efficiency equipment according to proper procedures.
Daily travel to pre-scheduled appointments.
Provide a professional appearance appropriate for a representative of Renu Energy.
Prepare weekly activity reports and track progress towards project goals.
Ensure the meeting of customer specifications and company quality standards.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.


Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
One to three years experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, troubleshooting and other technologies installed in commercial application required.
One to three years of experience working with low and high voltage wiring, and using a voltage/amperage meter preferred.
Previous customer service experience required.
Must be flexible to handle a wide work variety and work at a fast pace, self-motivated.

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the project Marketing Specialist provides support to the company's project marketing efforts. The duties of this individual involve coordination, clerical, and project based marketing work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Implement marketing plans developed by the marketing team.
Write copy for brochures, direct mail items, case studies, and other marketing materials.
Update energy efficiency project websites with new forms, information and promotional materials.
Generate ideas for promoting energy efficiency projects to business customers in conjunction with the project managers and their teams.
Track results of marketing promotions to determine level of success for each effort.
Use database information for assisting in improving the success rate of marketing operations.
Coordinate workflow and approvals of marketing materials from multiple internal and external parties.
Create and modify documents using Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree in Marketing or Engineering from an accredited college or university.
5 years experience required in marketing, copywriting or a related field.
1-2 years experience in graphic design preferred.
Must be self-motivated, organized and have an ability to prioritize workload.
Must be flexible to handle a wide work variety and work at a fast pace.

The responsibility of this position is to provide project management and leadership. This position will manage a team of energy professionals and electricins and contractors. In addition, this individual will manage a staff of engineers, project coordinators, and partner companies (subcontractors). The individual must also maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with the installation contractor responsible for construction of each Renu Energy solar project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the utility company relationship and serve as an advocate for our company.
Manage the relationship with our site partner for the duration of the solar installation.
Manage a multi-million dollar budget over multiple years including allocations to labor, expenses, subcontractors, and customer incentives.
Provide day to day leadership to project staff including managing education/awareness of project offerings, marketing activities, and assisting team to creatively meet or exceed the goals of each solar project site.
Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure meeting or exceeding goals.
Ensure continuous improvement of operations year after year.
Assist the VP of Engineering and COO in meeting all solar project goals.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in business, engineering, or other discipline.
Advanced degree preferred.
At least five years management/supervisory experience including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and mentoring;
Proficiency in financial management of $2+ million dollar per year budget.
Three years plus experience in managing energy efficiency projects preferred.
Experience in lighting, HVAC, and other technologies installed in commercial and industrial applications desired.
Technical experience in developing and/or reviewing energy savings calculations to determine paybacks and incentive levels for customers.
Candidate must show proven leadership in fast paced environment.
Candidate needs to be detail oriented and have an ability to prioritize workload and delegate appropriate work assignments to staff.
Must be flexible to handle a wide variety of tasks and complete work in a timely fashion in a fast pace environment.
Marketing experience a plus.

Provide design and planning for solar energy projects. Identify opportunities and provide design and engineering solutions for our commercial solar project customers. Recommend or specify modifications to existing roofing and/building systems when required for commercial clients. Electric usage calculations are required. Emphasize energy management techniques as well as solar system design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and provide documentation for on-site requirements for solar energy production on customer owned buildings and provide follow-up as required to the customers.
Discuss usage elements of electrical energy consuming equipment i.e. lighting, HVAC, hot water systems, etc.
Enter data into spreadsheets and databases to determine energy savings when solar systems are installed, and collaborate with Structural, Electrical and other engineers as required.
Provide a professional appearance appropriate to represent Renu Energy.
Be able to work in a team atmosphere, and willing to collaborate on continuous improvement of operations year after year.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required.
Energy Efficiency experience is a plus including photovoltaic and solar thermal system design and engineering.
2-5 years experience required in electric utility, facilities management, energy equipment sales, or conservation and energy management.
